Erin is currently working on her Masters of Public Administration specializing in Disaster Management. In May 2011, Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree from LSU in Political Communication with a minor in Disaster Science and Management. Erin also served as the Public Information Officer for the Disaster Science and Management Association at LSU where she handled the organizations external and internal communications.
Prior to joining SDMI Erin worked for the office of First Lady Supriya Jindal as an assistant to Chief of Staff Kellie Duhon. Erin also has experience with AARP Louisiana where she helped to create the Game Day project, a workshop and guide designed to help enhance preparedness among the 50 plus population in Louisiana. Erin is originally from Morgan City, Louisiana.
Prior to joining SDMI, Jeremy worked for the South Coast Air Quality Management District in Diamond Bar, CA as a Financial Analyst Intern. His responsibilities varied from preparing financial statements to creating a comprehensive client database.
Jeremy earned a BA in Economics and Black Studies from Amherst College in 2009. His senior prospectus at Amherst focused on relief efforts following Hurricane Katrina and the repopulation of New Orleans, specifically by musicians and artisans. He is currently working toward an MBA in LSU’s Flores MBA Program, where he plans to concentrate in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining SDMI, Rai was a freelance writer for Got Game Magazine where he wrote articles on soccer, golf and football. He earned a BS in Broadcast from Flagler College where he served as a Director and a Producer for the school’s television station. He is a first-year graduate student in LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication working towards his MS in Mass Communication. Rai is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii.
